“SIMI & PFI Misguiding Muslims against CAA” Says UP Minister Mohsin Raza
Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Minority Welfare Muslim Waqf and Hajj, Mohsin Raza accused banned organizations SIMI & PFI of misguiding Muslims against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).
“A few days back there were some recoveries, how ruckus was created, recovery of letters by PFI and the distribution of its handbills indicate that they’re spread in various districts and operating by opening small offices,” Mohsin Raza stated.
“Things which are happening are not happening in opposition to CAA, there is another conspiracy behind it. Banned terror outfits like SIMI and PFI are working under this conspiracy, they are misleading Muslims & making Muslim women sit on streets,” UP Minister further added.
Uttar Pradesh Police had earlier stated that it has sufficient proofs against PFI’s involvement in violent Anti-CAA protests in Uttar Pradesh. UP Police has also alleged several members of PFI have been associated with the banned Islamic group Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), in the past.
Uttar Pradesh police had arrested 25 PFI members for their involvement in violent protests against CAA. According to UP Police, PFI members were active in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Shamli, Bijnor, Gonda, Barabanki, Bahraich, Varanasi, Azamgarh, and Sitapur areas, during the protests against the new legislation.0 Replies to ““SIMI & PFI Misguiding Muslims against CAA” Says UP Minister Mohsin Raza”
