Rajinikanth Dismisses Speculations about Him Joining BJP
The Superstar of the South Rajinikanth dismissed all the speculations about him joining the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). He said BJP is trying to saffronize him but he’ll not be trapped. The comments came days after ‘the Thaliava’ met former Union minister and BJP leader Pon Radhakrishnan.
He also spoke about BJP presenting the ancient Tamil poet Tiruvalluvar dressed in saffron.
“I think all these issues are blown out of proportion. Some issues are of greater importance which needs to be discussed. I think this is a silly issue,” Rajinikanth said.
“Attempts being made by some to paint me in BJP colours like the same way Thiruvalluvar (Tamil poet) is being saffronised. Fact remains that neither Thiruvalluvar nor I will fall into their trap. ” he further added.
Controversy emerged after several BJP leaders shared pictures of ancient Tamil poet Tiruvalluvar.
Rajinikanth along with Kamal Haasan unveiled a statue of late film director K Balachander, inside the premises of Raaj Kamal Films International Company in Chennai, owned by Kamal Haasan.0 Replies to “Rajinikanth Dismisses Speculations about Him Joining BJP”
